We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone that supported our first ever trail run yesterday evening at Kirkham Priory.

45 runners took to the banks of the river to run a shorter out-and-back route of up to 10K and also a longer 12K route, taking in beautiful scenery, soaking up some of the years first rays of sunshine, and being treated to carpets of Bluebells and roaming Deer!

We received fantastic feedback before, during and after, all of which will help us to shape our future runs. It was also great to meet lots of new faces and to have the opportunity to socialise with many of you afterwards over a drink at the Stone Trough, Kirkham.

For those that ran, and managed to take some photos, we’ve emailed out a link for you to share you’re images with us so that we can start to show this great activity through the eyes of you, the runners! Thank you in advance if you share them with us. We’ll be posting them to Facebook, Twitter, here on our website, on our email newsletters, and in our general marketing, to help spread the word of T.R.Y and to hopefully encourage people to get involved in our friendly, challenging and rewarding activity.

Our next event is this coming Saturday. We’ll be taking the train from Filey to Bempton, then taking a nice steady run back along the coastline, culminating with Fish, Chips and as much Ice Cream as you can manage!
