Highlights: This is a classic route with some of the best views in North Yorkshire, with a mixture of terrain it is definitely not one to be missed
Difficulty Rating: Medium, there are some hills, but they are worth it
Escape Route: Either return to Kilburn or proceed to Sutton Bank visitor centre where there is also a phone.
Hazards: This route has some steep gradients with rough terrain, please give them your full attention and walk where necessary. The short route has a path that parallels the road, please avoid the temptation to run on the road due to the nature of this terrain and the difficulty of negotiating the road by motorists.
